Area Dental Laboratory (ADL)

The Area Dental Laboratory is a full service (type 1) facility located in building 3231, at Naval Station, San Diego. Our mission is to provide prosthodontic laboratory support to providers assigned to dental commands afloat and ashore in addition to other Dental Treatment Facilities (DTFs) within the DOD. Our goal is to provide dental prostheses of the highest quality with turn around times consistent with or exceeding the dental laboratory industry standard. The ADL Branch Director is a residency trained Prosthodontist. The Director also serves as the Command Consultant for dental laboratory services.

ADL San Diego is certified by the National Board for Certification (NBC) in Dental Laboratory Technology.
