Neurosurgery Clinic
Mission Statement
The Department of Neurological Surgery at Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD) specializes in the evaluation, diagnosis and surgical treatment of disorders of the central and peripheral nervous system (brain, spinal cord, and nerves) as well as the head and spine. NMCSD Neurosurgical Providers offer the most up-to-date and evidenced-based treatment modalities, and are committed to the education of our patients regarding complex neurosurgical conditions. We strive for constant evolution in the neurosurgical care and capabilities for our forward deployed warfighters, and are concurrently thought-leaders for the treatment of the broad spectrum of non-wartime neurosurgical disease. We are committed to the training of our next generation of neurosurgeons.
