High Risk/Genetic Counseling

The High Risk Clinic at Breast Health Center provides comprehensive care to women with personal or family histories that may place them at high risk of developing breast cancer in their lifetime. We provide in-depth genetic risk assessments and if indicated, offer certain women and men genetic testing to help guide their future care. We help educate these patients on their risks and ways to reduce these risks.

All patients who are referred to the High Risk Clinic attend a group educational lecture which discusses risk factors for breast cancer, along with various risk reduction interventions. We use various risk calculation tools to aid in this discussion and to provide our patients with a comprehensive look into their potential risks.

The Breast Health Center High Risk Clinic team prides themselves on offering comprehensive health education to assist our patients in understanding, navigating and managing their risks.
