What is Wellness and Readiness Operations Center? (WAROps)

The Warrior Readiness Training Program is designed to guide Active Duty war fighters to achieve optimal health, wellness, and readiness goals through access to health coaching, innovative fitness plans, and wellness education. Potential members complete an initial fitness and body composition assessment, attend two orientation classes (injury Prevention and Fueling for Success) before being assigned to attend 3 group fitness classes per week. Members also attend wellness education and support twice per month (the virtual MOVE! Weight Management Program). Members are offered group health coaching weekly and have access to individualized health coaching through their MOVE! Program participation, including nutrition counseling with the program dietitian. Periodic body composition and fitness reassessments are completed throughout program participation, which may guide further supportive programming options.
