About Us
The Hematology-Oncology Clinic, a Department of the Director for Medical Services, is comprised of dedicated and compassionate professionals who specialize in the comprehensive care of patients with blood and oncologic disorders. Our outpatient staff consists of the following:

A team of Navy Hospital corpsmen and volunteers
This multi-disciplinary team provides state of the art care to our patients. On-Site pharmacy service further enhances the quality of care by providing on site therapeutic capability. Our Ambulatory Infusion Center augments our outpatient services by providing chemotherapy administration, transfusion services and other infusion needs for all adult outpatients at Naval Medical Center, San Diego.
We offer our patients the opportunity to participate in cancer clinical trials. The Hematology-Oncology Clinic is active in clinical research. Our clinic is an affiliate member of The Alliance cooperative group, a part of the National Clinical Trials Network (NCTN) sponsored by the National Cancer Institute (NCI) and in cooperation with the University of California at San Diego.
We are active in resident education, providing clinical instruction and didactic teaching for our residency program accredited by the American College of Physicians.
