About Us
The Hematology-Oncology Clinic, a Department of the Director for Medical Services, is comprised of dedicated and compassionate professionals who specialize in the comprehensive care of patients with blood and oncologic disorders. Our outpatient staff consists of the following:

4 Chemotherapy Certified Infusion Nurse Specialists / 2 Infusion Nurses
2 Patient Care Coordinators - Oncology Certified Nurses

A team of Navy Hospital corpsmen and volunteers
This multi-disciplinary team provides state of the art care to our active duty, retiree, and military dependent patients. On-Site pharmacy service further enhances the quality of care by providing on site therapeutic capability for IV infusion treatments as well as take-home medications. Our Ambulatory Infusion Center augments our outpatient services by providing chemotherapy administration, transfusion services and other infusion needs for all adult outpatients at Naval Medical Center, San Diego.
Our patient care coordinators and social workers help patients navigate their cancer diagnoses and holistic health care needs.
We are active in resident education, providing clinical instruction and didactic teaching for our residency program accredited by the American College of Physicians.
