Pediatric Residency Program
To fulfill the requirements of the American Board of Pediatrics and the ACGME Pediatric Residency Review Committee. Our primary goal is to train selected medical officers to become pediatricians of the highest quality, capable of providing comprehensive medical care to the children of military personnel stationed around the world.
Each year, the Pediatrics Department has between 15-20 interns and residents training in all areas of Pediatric Care. Patients may be treated by a resident, under supervision of our experienced pediatric faculty in the General Pediatric Continuity Clinic, any of the Pediatric Sub-Specialties, the Adolescent Clinic, the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.
It is our staff mission to offer quality healthcare and customer service to patients and their families every day, every visit. We encourage parents to ask questions, take notes and share their concerns during visits. We look forward to working together with parents to keep children healthy and happy!
