Week of Wellness Kicks Off at NMCSD

SAN DIEGO, CA — Naval Medical Center San Diego kicked off the Health and Wellness department’s Week of Wellness fair, Oct. 17. The week-long event covers a broad range of topics all aimed at improving one’s overall health and wellness. October is filled with numerous health and wellness observations ranging from World Smile Day, observed on Oct. 7, to Mental Illness Awareness Week, observed Oct. 2-8.

SAN DIEGO — The Naval Medical Center San Diego Information Management and Clinical Informatics team has won the 2022 Capt. Joan Dooling Information Professional Team of the Year Award Aug. 16, for the deployment of MHS Genesis - the next generation DoD electronic health record system.
